Cerne Abbas Giant

The village of Cerne Abbas is dominated by the figure of the Giant naked man etched into the chalky hillside. The Cerne Abbas Giant, also referred to as the Rude Man or the Rude Giant, is 55m high and 51m wide is best viewed from the opposite side of the valley or from the air. People wishing to have children have been visiting the site for over 2000 years as they believe that it holds the power of fertility.
